ACHRAF LAZAAR

Thanks to double citizenship, Lazaar could choose between playing at international level for Morocco or Italy. Luckily for The Atlas Lions, he decided to defend the colours of his home country, debuting for the Moroccan national football team in 2014.

Lazaar moved from the Sicilian team of Palermo to Newcastle in the summer of 2016 for a fee close to £5m.

The talented left-back joined the Owls in the winter of 2019, quickly becoming one of the fans’ favourites because of his speed, hard work rate, and brilliant left foot.
