SAKARI MATTILA

Sakari Mattila, a Finnish midfielder and centre-back, moved to Italian Serie A with Udinese in 2009 and has since played for football clubs in Italy, England, Norway and Denmark. Among these clubs were HJK Helsinki, Udinese, Bellinzona, Aalesunds, Fulham, Fredrikstad and SønderjyskE.

Mattila captained the Finnish U19 team and played in the Finnish national team in March 2014. He has since played 16 matches for this team.

He appeared in qualification matches for the 2016 UEFA European Championship and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
