MODIBO DIAKITÉ

Modibo (“The Beast”) Diakité is 195cm tall and weighs 100kg.

During his career, this centre-back played in all the top European Leagues: in Serie A (Lazio, Fiorentina, Sampdoria, Cagliari, Frosinone), in Premier League (Sunderland), and Spain (Deportivo la Coruna).

He joined Cagliari in the winter of 2015 to re-adjust the defence of the Rossoblu, which was struggling at the bottom of Serie A – a request that came from Sir Gianfranco Zola. Unfortunately, Diakité’s experience wasn’t enough to save the Sardinian outfit from relegation.
