CHRISTIAN RIGANÓ

Christian “The ‘Bricker” Riganó (nicknamed in this way because of his vocation before becoming a footballer) moved to Fiorentina in 2002. This move was significant, as he became the first millionaire acquisition of the new owners of La Viola, the Della Valle family (the family behind the famous shoe brand, Tod’s).

Riganó, a typical old-style centre-forward, is one of three players who have been leading goal scorers in every professional category (Serie A, B and C).

He is remembered as one of Fiorentina’s best centre-forwards of all time.
